President of the Board - Beth Bittenbender
Chair of Executive Committee and Governance Committee
Beth has expertise in management, quality control, and strategic planning. She is President of Elliott Affiliates, a facilities management consulting company located in Baltimore, and an active member of the US Green Building Council. Beth has a BS in Business Administration from Shippensburg University, PA. She and her husband, Matt, live in Northeast Baltimore with their two daughters, who both attend City Neighbors Hamilton. Interests include home renovation, travel, politics, sustainability, and reading.

Secretary - Dana Daneker Gasiorowski
Chair of the Communications Committee
Dana is the mother of Devin Gasiorowski. A Flavor Chemist professionally, she has a BS in Biology, and an MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. She is a certified member of the Society of Flavor Chemists, American Chemical Society and the Institute of Food Technologists. She has taught in the Baltimore County School System, volunteered for the Child Life Department at Johns Hopkins Childrens Center and visits schools to expose children to the world of Food Science. Dana enjoys spending time raising her three children with her husband Philip, reading books, supporting CNH and planning family adventures.

Treasurer- Maria Chavez
Chair of the Finance Committee
Maria has a Masters in Management and a special education certification from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She is currently a Special Educator for the Baltimore City Schools. Maria has worked in level five schools as a Special Educator for Baltimore County. Teaching is Maria's second career. Prior to teaching, Maria was the director and facilitator for Camp Excel, an academic camp for children ages 5-10 as well as a CASA (a court appointed special advocate) working with abused and neglected children. She has spent 7 years volunteering at the John Hopkins Children Center and was a Mentor providing respite for medically fragile children. Maria's compassion is children and bettering their lives.
I have a strong faith which is my foundation and my necessity in life. I enjoy spending time with Gabrielle who is amazing and keeps me on my toes! In my free time, I like to practice Bikram Yoga, working out, reading and spending time with family and friends.
It has been a privilege and honor to be on the City Neighbors Board of Directors. I love the diversity that City Neighbors Hamilton brings not only to the school but to the community as well.

Director of Parent Relations - Kim Lane
Chair of Organized Parent Group
Ms Lane has worked in the non-profit sector for over 20 years in Baltimore starting as a community organizer to Executive Director of large organizations. She has created and directed nationally recognized public safety and community development programs in distressed areas of Baltimore. She has also directed non-profits working with at-risk youth and the homeless population. Kim lives in Lauraville with her husband Chris Ryer and their two girls Abbey, 16 and Sydney 5. Director of Accountability - Jeff Elkins
Chair of Accountability Committee
Jeff is the father of four kids. His oldest is currently attending CNH as a second grader. He has a deep passion for seeing people suceed and loves to empower people to achieve their dreams. He loves to read and is obessed with learning. He has worked as a pastor in Baltimore since 2004.

Teacher Representative - Peter Redgrave
Peter Redgrave has worked in education for ten years. He began teaching English abroad in Asia and Europe before returning to Maryland to get his Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Peter's first degree was in Fine Art. He remains active in the arts as a member of Smelling Salt Amusements, an entertainment troupe that he founded with his wife, Heather Romney.
